I installed 250 ft of native pollinator garden around my house last fall. Now during my morning coffee, I get to watch the Monarchs, swallowtails, & many other butterflies as they fuel up during their migrations ☕️ 🦋 🌼 😎
Mid-August marks the start of fall migration for millions of monarchs! Now through mid-November, these butterflies will travel during the day and roost in trees at night. You may see anywhere from a few to hundreds taking a break along the way. 📷 Mike Budd/USFWS

The crawfish frog is rapidly declining across its range! This unique species lives primarily in upland habitats and relies on crayfish/mammal burrows. We are using radiotelemetry to track the frogs to better understand their habitat requirements. tinyurl.com/43w7vy2w
