Jerry Neuheiselโs play calling against the highest paid defensive coordinator in college football:
Coach Skipper and Jerry Neuheisel playing against potential replacements for DeShaun Foster like their contestants on The Apprentice is peak UCLA, lol.
UCLA OC Jerry Neuheisel play calling his first Big Ten game on the road:
If Iโm being totally honest, the best guy brought in this year through the transfer portal is @ScottDochterman to @TheAthleticCFB. Sure, Fernando Mendoza is smart enough to win a Pulitzer but he still needs reporters to cover him doing it.
Wisconsin & Iowa fan bases are as similar as any two in the Big Ten. There's the German heritage, love for football & beer. I embarked on a tour between the rivals to look at how the confluence of those elements impact life along the beer highway. nytimes.com/athletic/67032โฆ
Is she reading off a set of SEC talking points? The coaches complaining are the ones hired before they knew they were going to be barnstorming the country to play games. The players are also not pro athletes and actually have school to attend.
โI will run myself through a window if I hear one more Big Ten coach blame it on the freaking travel.โ @KrisBudden goes OFF on the recent wave of complaints about the Big Ten travel schedule. @RoddyJones20 | @NicoleAuerbach
The thing about Martin Jarmond as Athletic Director is that heโs really good at some things to the point that they make those above him not question the really stupid things heโs done, lol.
I believe Foster wanted Jerry for OC. It was the AD that overruled him.

Canโt say Iโm all that surprised UCLA pulled off an upset of Penn State in the Rose Bowlโgiven that they once knocked off the #3 team in the country there too, lol: washingtonpost.com/archive/sportsโฆ

Cal actually has so many Nobel laureates they have their own special parking placard. Superior flex move.
Berkeleyโs got the best and brightest ๐ก Honoring the 59 Nobel Prizes and counting won by Cal affiliates on our helmets this weekend. #SmartAndTough #GoBears

Eliminating divisions will come back to haunt the Big Tenโฆ.
Awful loss by Penn State + James Franklin Big Ten teams traveling 2 time zones or more have an atrocious record but thatโs no excuse for the lack of urgency from Penn State. James Franklin let Oregon beat them twice.
Do teams in the Big Ten always play as dirty as Penn State does? Asking for a friend, lol.
Only guys that can stop Jerryโs game plan at this point have been the refs, lol.
Jerry Neuheisel has been telling the school to let him call plays for the longest by the way
FWIW, the first UCLA game I saw in person Bruins almost blew a 35-3 halftime lead against Texasโฆin the Rose Bowl.
UCLA is gonna find a way to steal defeat from the jaws of victory here arenโt they
I would laugh, but I watched the Miami game as a freshman.
they just said the bruins are cooking here and i snort-laughed, let's fucking go
Beginning to think this game is rigged, lol. Donโt tell me Jerry was made play caller so that CBS could have his dad do Picture in Picture analysisโฆ

Uh oh, time to call the TV repairmanโฆ I think the score is wrong, lol.

Looks like UCLA will dodge a bullet this weekend at least, lol.
FWIW, I do not believe it was informal and was a term of the contract in the old PAC-10 deal. It was eliminated in part because the appearance based model accounted for regional telecasts. As a function of the PAC 12 Network being launched, all broadcasts had to be national.

70% of 18 is 12.6โฆ Question is how does it work with multiple members being evicted and whether the evictee gets a vote or counts in the percentage. If so, then itโs really the old Big Ten needing help from Rutgers, lol.
You can't evict a conference member without a vote that requires 70% membership voting yes. No school will vote another out and run the risk of themselves being next.
Fox is trying to lock in members before BTN canโt make payroll from subscribers ditching cable TV bundles.
Sources: The Big Ten is in discussions about a private capital deal that would infuse at least $2 billion to the league and its schools, per me and @DanWetzel . The discussions include a 10-year extension of the leagueโs grant of rights until 2046. espn.com/college-sportsโฆ
