Due to inclement weather, all Greece Central schools, programs and extracurricular activities will be closed and canceled tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 4. This is a Level 2 closure for staff. Only previously designated essential staff will be permitted on school grounds tomorrow.
Wearing a mask is a simple way to reduce the spread. It's not about being air tight, it's about retaining your droplets. I'll wear a mask to keep my droplets off of you. Will you please wear a mask to keep your droplets off of me? We will only get through this together.
What does a mask do? Blocks respiratory droplets coming from your mouth and throat. Two simple demos: First, I sneezed, sang, talked & coughed toward an agar culture plate with or without a mask. Bacteria colonies show where droplets landed. A mask blocks virtually all of them.
Started today with a run and some weight training at home. It felt SO GOOD to get outside.
The plants have been rescued, and the Tower Garden can take care of itself. We WILL have second generation Phoenix hot peppers and lettuce!
