Took one of our favorite lessons where Ss have to rank causes of the Civil War in order of impact & then added an idea from @MrClineUS where students had to “divide the pie.” I could hear & see them analyzing! Ss will write their justifications next week! @MrsJSullivant
Thank you @CoachTChambers and @KacyStuber for your “high yield” @lnhsavid strategies! We combined the “marking the text” and “world cafe” strategies in today’s lesson and it made a complicated text more engaging and meaningful!

An absolute win-win kind of day. Every staff member was recognized and received bouquets and a note, put together by our @ImpactSvms. Thank you to Unexpected Blooms for presenting about their cause, and donating ALL of the flowers used.
A little rain didn’t stop EVERY runner on @SVEagleTrack from running a 400 time trial today, by choice! Followed by a plank competition and a team pacer! Proud of EVERY one of you and congrats to our last plankers; Logan, Kam, Tate, Caleb, & Bella!
