I've never smoked ribs before today. I'm not sure if I trimmed them right...I probably messed something up somewhere. We'll see how this goes.
The smoker is going, the birds are singing, and it's just a beautiful morning. Yardwork is on the agenda for today. Might watch some baseball this afternoon. I'll probably have another cup of coffee first, though.
Eleanor and I went to the mall today. I needed to get a new pair of tennis shoes and I wanted some Crocs. I'm walking out of the store with 6 pairs of shoes, 2 of which belong to me, and no Crocs.
Played catch with the granddaughter this evening. It was good.
Some of you kids remind me of me when I was your age. Dumb as fuck.
I had ham loaf (with a peach glaze) for lunch today. It was fantastic. Not quite as good as Mom's was, but it was up there.
This is the best day of the year. Baseball is finally back!
Merry Christmas! Hope your Christmas goes better than Eleanor's has. Apparently you aren't supposed to cut cookies from the middle of the dough. Learn something new every day, I suppose.

I've noticed I start to get angry around 7 PM, only because it's not 8 PM and I can't go to bed yet.
This could be big. Scrolling through Twitter I've learned that lots of people think their guy is doing really well or really terrible and vice versa about the other guy.
Going to vote today. I'm solidly in the anti Councilman Farmer camp. He wants to drop money on more code enforcement, rather than more street repair. I'm tired of hitting the pothole everytime I go to McDonalds.
