Traffic study for Project Olive (Amazon GI): Overall, the project will have impacts on traffic. However with the implementation of appropriate mitigation accessories...the project will not have any significant adverse impact on transportation or the surrounding roadway network.


Monday's presentation at Grand Island. Kim Nason, lawyer for Project Olive: “As of right now we are not able to disclose anything with respect to prospective future tenants at the facility.” Councilman Madigan: “So you can’t actually use the word Amazon, is what you’re saying?”


The number of employees in the proposed Project Olive (Amazon) project at any one time (1,800) would be almost 8% of the population of Grand Island (20,000).

As revealed at the Grand Island Town Board meeting tonight, the Project Olive (alleged Amazon) project would call for 1800 parking spaces. To put that in perspective, that's about 3x as many as at Fantasy Island.
