EDUCATION | The weekend saw our second @NorthRidingFA player to ref cohort undertake their referees course in conjunction with The York & Beckett Football Leagues held at @UniOfYork. The aim is to keep local players in the grassroots game by becoming referees! Good luck to all👏
DEVELOPMENT | Last night saw our second @NorthRidingFA @PhostersFM Development Group Meeting of the season! The night saw practical sessions on AR movement/decision making & Ref penalty area decisions before indoor clip analysis. Great to see so much learning take place💡👏
DEVELOPMENT | Last night was our November @NorthRidingFA @PhostersFM CORE meeting held at @AskhamBryan. The physical focussed on gym based strength & power for refereeing before our L4 referees provided analysis on their own clips from the season so far in the classroom💪😀
DEVELOPMENT | October has seen our @NorthRidingFA Referee Roadshows take place across the County in Middlesbrough, York, Scarborough & Catterick! It has been great to listen to the referees views & discussion with the key focus of each session being on ‘preventative refereeing’🙌
DEVELOPMENT | Last night saw our @NorthRidingFA @PhostersFM October CORE meeting. A heavily practical night with 3 sessions on penalty area decision making, assistant referee crossovers & physical fitness followed by indoor technical clips facilitated by our brilliant coaches🙌
DEVELOPMENT | We are ready for our first @NorthRidingFA @PhostersFM BAME Development Group meeting of the season at HQ. Looking forward to practical outside followed by some topical clips & Laws of the Game testing!
DEVELOPMENT | This evening we are at @NorthRidingFA HQ four our first @PhostersFM Women’s Development Group meeting of the season. Great to see the referees working hard in the practical before LOTG updates & watching this evenings @NRFLOfficial game😀⚽️
DEVELOPMENT | Rounding off a busy week of development last night at @tibsfc for our @NorthRidingFA @PhostersFM Referee Development Group meeting. Great to see a real mix of personalities in the group this season, all looking to improve on & off the pitch!💪
DEVELOPMENT| Last night we were at @PanthersFC for our @NorthRidingFA Get into Refereeing Adult Football workshop! The session was designed to help our young referees transition from youth to adult football, giving them to confidence to give it a go! Well done to all attendees😀
REF COURSE | The weekend saw our second @NorthRidingFA new referee course of the season held at @yorkriafc. Great to train another 24 keen new referees who will take to local parks from this weekend😀 looking forward to supporting them on their journey🙌
DEVELOPMENT | Tonight is our first @NorthRidingFA @PhostersFM Centre Of Referee Excellence camp at @tibsfc. A mix of physical sessions & target setting with our coaching team before technical clip analysis on topical incidents from the start of the season⚽️
DEVELOPMENT | Last night saw great collaboration between @NorthRidingFA @YFLeague & @York_RA. Consecutive meetings for officials & parents saw key pre-season updates before listening to Gary Beswick, FIFA & PL AR discuss mindset & his experience at the FIFA Club World Cup!🤩👏

DEVELOPMENT | Today is our final day at @qethelburgas supporting our @NorthRidingFA match officials in Manchester City & Hull City academy games. Great to see all of the officials develop their refereeing & assistant refereeing technical skills with them all keen to develop🙌
DEVELOPMENT | Over the past week we have been at @qethelburgas to support @NorthRidingFA match officials on a range of academy games involving Leeds, Man U, Southampton, Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough & Hearts! A great experience for all involved with plenty of learning👏
