If we are giving reds for that the game is truly gone. It’s handbags at best. Keane barely even flinched. A good ref gives a yellow and has a stern word. He doesn’t get a hard on and pull out the red card as quick as he could.

This is a disgustingly familiar story from referees all over the country and yet according to the Football association 99.8% of games Go ahead with full respect. Come on. Don't make me laugh.
Poor stewarding But that's probably as a result of awful fan behaviour and no support for the stewards doing their job and allowing the fans to run rampant.

One of the reasons I'm falling out of love with football is the celebration of violence like this over the pureness of the sport. I don't think it's uniquely British, but it's definitely more of a thing here than in other parts of the world.

I saw this from the Referees Association. 👇🏾 Apparently a Level 3 Referee from the Midlands was charged with allegedly swearing at a manager and a player. Does anyone know what game this would refer to and exactly what was alleged? It's always nice to have ALL the detail.

The match was ABANDONED due to sexist remarks!!! A certain female got dramatic, and the club had no option but to “back it up”. It happens. I used to call Mike Dean a wanker every week and not once did he abandon the game.

The ref then 2nd yellowed a player for “pulling a face at him” his direct words and put that in his match report. One player responded with is that a joke, who was also sent off, followed by another red for someone saying how embarrassing.
