Maple class are really enjoying our craft topic this term in our art lesson. We have practised clay work skills working in response to Anthony Gormley, made repeating patterns on clay tiles and tried our hand at paper weaving. 🧑🎨📷@NectonPrimary

Maple class really enjoyed joining in with the BBC Ten Pieces live concert today. We closed our eyes and concentrated, danced and moved and even created artwork. All whilst listening to these amazing pieces. 😀🎶#BBCTenPieces @NectonPrimary
Maple class have been learning about life-cycles and how some animals look like their parents at birth and others look completely different. These super-cute, tiny, baby guinea pig visitors look just like miniature versions of their mum!😍 @NectonPrimary

The Necton Primary Eco-council were up at the pond today checking the equipment and trying out the new long-handled pond dipping nets and field study guides donated by our lovely FOSA parents group. We caught 5 baby newts in one sweep! Thanks FOSA! 🦎🐸@NectonPrimary
Maple class carefully released our beloved temporary amphibious class members into the pond today. From tiny tadpoles, rescued from a puddle, to fighting fit froglets! Good luck out there and thanks for helping us with our learning!🐸 @NectonPrimary #Nectonlovesnature🐸
Necton Primary's Eco-Council has done a super job of promoting #NoMowMay with a wildflower seed and cake stall. A big thanks to our wider school family for helping us raise over £100 towards our gardening area. @NectonPrimary @Love_plants

Maple Class have thoroughly enjoyed forest school this term. What a final session with ice, sun, sleet and snow! We all came together to say thank-you to the woods and share in toasting marshmallows. Yum! #nectonlovesforestschool @NectonPrimary
