Here at the 1983 #indy500, rookie Al Unser Jr. would get in between father (Al Unser) and 2nd place Tom Sneva in an attempt to protect the lead. Al Jr even says in his interview post race "Yea thats what I did." haha Sneva would eventually pass both Unser's for his victory.

One of my all-time favorite clips. Al Unser Sr at the age of 53, passes son Al Unser Jr late in the 1992 #indy500 for third place, driving a Buick mind you. Look at little Al trying to see where his dad is at in his mirrors. Now up-scaled for your viewing pleasure!
One of the bigger storylines of the 1992 #indy500 that is often overlooked is simply Al Unser Sr. Filling in for the injured Nelson Piquet and driving a Buick, what Al did that year was nothing short of perfection. To me, his greatest drive of his career.
