Writing book 3 (it has a title, but subject to change) and frankly it's something akin to Noir on a spaceship. Space Noir should be a genre. Also loving the themes in this. When (if) it gets published I hope it resonates with people.
CEO/Museum Director role going @CrichTramway . LOTS of scope for the right person. Check it out. tramway.co.uk/contact/vacanc…
Cautious trepidation in thinking and saying that I think I do have an author voice after an amazing mentoring session the other night. I'm about to send a chapter to an established author. If it's not torn to threads I may whoop.
Can you guess where the first sentiant robot in literature is? I await your ideas below. (I also love this question)
Doing the first draft of my third book. A) it's nice to be doing a new one. B) I love the plot in this one. C) I feel I've developed a lot between writing 1 and 3. (Book 2 still needs editing/redrafting)
The monster in #doctorwho 'Space Babies' reminds me (in looks) of the Curry Monster from Red Dwarf. "Of course, lager. The only thing that can kill a vindaloo"
Came home to find that the 1930s sewing machine of doom has moved. This might be a hint to try and repair it.....
Finally completely finished my first novel last night. Now looking for proof readers and publication. Wish me luck.
Just took out 1937 Austin 10 to a wedding venue to drop the OH off at a party. People appear thinking you're delivering a pair of newly weds. Nope, it's us playing about!

Watching Thomas and wondering if the Fat Controller actually understood safety.
It never fails to amaze me what you could do in the 1960s with some redundant trams, imagination and a load of light bulbs. They're a bit fairground in a way of being a complete reflection of the time as well. youtu.be/vF0-Crdhk74?fe…
I love this and it's a crying shame it didn't get preserved.
It's very nerdy to say that I find this interesting. Also there is a monorail on the front cover.
AI has now got to the stage where a character it has created has entered the global public consciousness. Which I think is hugely important. Unfortunately that character is "The Unknown" from the Glasgow Chocolate Factory disaster.
3D printer back up and running. Whitelake South Signal Box is now getting its interior. Complete with small oven.
