100% a foul for UNS-taunting. He directs his “flex” at and stood over the offensive player. If he directs this into the backfield away from opponents, no foul

No Fun League. Eagles, Smith Jr flagged for taunting after flexing here.

Statement from NFL Referees Association executive director Scott Green, who says: “It is insulting and preposterous to hear conspiracy theories that somehow 17 officiating crews consisting of 138 officials are colluding to assist one team.”

NFL Officiating Rules Analyst Walt Anderson appeared on @NFLGameDay with a detailed explanation of the controversial flags thrown Saturday for hits on #Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. Short version, per Anderson: Under the rules, officials got both calls right.

QBs are defenseless throughout the play after an INT. Should’ve been a 15y penalty from the spot of the foul. 1/10 for WAS #NFLPlayoffs #DETvsWAS

Goff takes a hard hit to the head. Rules analyst says this should've been a flag for the helmet to helmet.

Great call for a PF as the defender continues his engagement OOB, which is fine, but then gives an extra shove at the end throwing the runner to the ground #GBvsPHI

Packers called for a personal foul on this play. 📺: FOX

After review, Referee Brad Allen says the call “stands”. There needs to be clear and obvious evidence the Packers recovered. He and the replay official felt it wasn’t clear enough

Packers fumble. It looks like Nixon has control of the ball while on the ground and then the ball was taken from him. Refs reviewed and said Eagles got the ball

Biggest difference from regular season is if the team on their first possession of OT scores a TD, the game is not over. The team on DEF still has the chance to possess the ball

The @NFL postseason overtime rules were updated in 2022 to allow each team an opportunity to possess the ball. These rules are in effect throughout the #NFLPlayoffs. Full rules available here: ops.nfl.com/OTRules

A rare play indeed! Have only heard of it happening at the HS level. Something of note, this is not a rule in NCAA

🚨🚨WE HAVE WITNESSED HISTORY🚨🚨 #CHARGERS, DICKER THE KICKER HITS THE FAIR CATCH FREE KICK FROM 57 YARDS OUT. The last successful fair catch kick was done by the Chargers in 1976 by Ray Wersching. This is the longest free kick in NFL HISTORY. 🤯🤯🤯

When a defender is beat and chasing, their timing of contact needs to be perfect to avoid a foul. Here, in real-time, it is. A true bang-bang play. A no-call is correct here

Pass interference?

Roughing the passer. Not sure how this was missed

I see a new rule interpretation happening after this play

most complete looking incomplete pass ever

Pretty tough to sell the defender was blocked into the punter here. Forcible contact to the plant leg is roughing. 15 yards, auto 1st down

Pretty clear running into the punter not called…Calvin Austin’s punt return TD stands as a result #NYGvsPIT

You would hope replay would’ve stepped in this situation and reset the clock with more than 1 sec coming off

🚨BREAKING: #Bears fans are very angry with the refs and the Washington clock operator for rigging the time for the #Commanders… throughout the game “The operator really likes Washington… he’s trying the best he can, but someone caught him.” - Tony Romo

Correct call for targeting. WR was defenseless, any forcible contact to the head/neck area is targeting

Ohio State was called for TARGETING on this call… Do you agree with this?
