In other news, google's translation capability is sufficiently advanced that it believes we can get back to that tower we were working on . . .

What will we see first? A @system76 laptop with Tiger Lake, or Nvidia RTX30 series, or both :-)

So, @system76 is kinda like the 'apple' or 'tesla' of linux computers, except that their CEO/founder isn't a sociopath :-)

Curious pattern in the covid daily 'confirmed cases' data. I assume it has something to do with how the data is gathered?

Anyone know anything about #Docker performance? I ran into a problem which to me is a pretty significant performance hit and I'd love it if someone could tell me if I'm doing something wrong (and what it might be): stackoverflow.com/questions/6084… #DockerPerformance

Hey @system76, some sort of caps lock indicator would be really helpful, at least for the 22% of us that use vi(m). It can be really confusing if you accidentally hit capslock in command mode. (Not to mention dangerous :-) #System76 #OryxPro

Hey @system76, will Pop OS 19.10 have Python 3.8? Asking for a friend :-)

#Python decimal module is cool, but be careful to use strings for initialization, or you might not get what you want: >>> Decimal(1.5) Decimal('1.5') >>> Decimal(1.6) Decimal('1.600000000000000088817841970012523233890533447265625') >>> Decimal('1.6') Decimal('1.6')

One thing I noticed in the comments was that many readers are cynical about the wrong things. They think all politicians do this; that every president has increased the deficit; and hence that there's no difference between Trump/McConnell and others. All of this is false 1/

Columnist @PaulKrugman answered readers' questions related to his most recent column. Check them out: nyti.ms/2yPlhE7

Saw that the new macbook pros came out today. My #OryxPro was significantly less expensive, and has 2TB more disk space, and lots more useful ports. So glad I got it instead of waiting. @system76 #system76
