Wolves face Pels tonight and Thursday.
New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson will miss extended time with a right adductor injury, sources tell ESPN. He will be re-evaluated in three weeks.
Two thoughts: 1) this is really great, if it’s a thing. 2) I sure hope it’s a thing.
Wolves from 3 over their last 3 games: @ OKC: 17 for 37 (46%) vs. Bos: 21 for 48 (44%) vs. SA: 17 for 37 (46%) Ant from deep over his last 5: 24 for 49 (49% on 9.8 3PAs/game)
Good to sweep a back to back against serious opponents, the effort versus OKC maybe helped get things on a better track. Wish the first half defense was a little better but good weekend of hoops.
Wolves hitting 49% from downtown. Slightly better than yesterday versus Boston.
Both teams take basically consecutive timeouts -- Finch's the second one -- and the magic appears to have left the arena.
That was the best stretch of basketball this team has played all season.
Frustrating one to need a challenge to reverse. He was raked on the arms and the ball went flying, hard to miss?
Clean, productive game from Randle. He's had a couple stinkers of late, nice to see the version we've grown accustomed to return.
Good end of quarter defense sub to get Clark in there, got the stop.
That behind the back from Ant in traffic was Ray Allen/Jesus Shuttlesworth-esque.
Ant's getting some very clean looks from 3, making all of em. Can't get stops on other end, unfortunately, so still down 5.
Clark's gotten scored on a few times tonight, and I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that.
