Although I’m glad leaders are acting on intelligence, the fact that domestic right wing extreme terrorists have made Congress cancel its session today should make every American furious.

My message to my fellow Americans and friends around the world following this week's attack on the Capitol.

Clarity

Folks are asking what Justice Alito was saying. He is saying he thinks Texas has the right to file papers but that it wouldn’t matter because if they did he wouldn’t rule for them anyway. It is a strong 9-0 loss for Trump. It’s impossible to lose more.

This says terrible things about these 106 Republican House members. They’re all unprincipled cowards, trembling at the prospect of a mean tweet by the Coward in Chief.

For the first time in a long time, I don't really care what Trump says, on here or elsewhere. The votes have been cast, he's losing, and nothing he says can stop that. Carry on.

With large numbers of votes cast by mail during COVID, we will likely not have a declared “winner” by Nov 4. But Nov election results are never certified until Dec anyway. Supreme Court justices and other government officials should not be contributing to conspiracy theories.

This is chilling, from Justice Kavanaugh in the Wisconsin voting rights case: “If the apparent winner the morning after the election ends up losing due to late-arriving ballots, charges of a rigged election could explode.” He’s down to steal this thing.

The $3 water sums up what we've found this year: @realdonaldtrump set up a hidden business relationship with his own govt, where he could act as both buyer & seller, but let somebody else pay. Here, Trump sold the water. Trump drank the water. But taxpayers somehow got the bill.

NEW: Previously un-released documents show the government has paid $2.5 million to @realdonaldtrump's businesses. Far more than we knew. Trump Org charged $7,700 for a dinner, $6,000 for floral arrangements…and $3 for POTUS’s own glass of water. washingtonpost.com/politics/ballr…

It’s our Justice Department, not yours, and we are ready to take it back.

Governor Whitmer of Michigan has done a terrible job. She locked down her state for everyone, except her husband’s boating activities. The Federal Government provided tremendous help to the Great People of Michigan. My Justice Department and Federal Law Enforcement announced...

Doctors typically use 24, 48, 72 hours, etc., in order to be more specific because a matter of hours and even minutes can be so critically important in describing the progression of illness/recovery. They do not use terms like day 2 and day 3, and least until now. Clumsy alibi.

Dem Senators should demand the nominee recuse herself from deciding the election. She will not. Voters will see how corrupt this is.

I’m proud to endorse my friend @JoeBiden for President of the United States. Let's go:

Demand universal mail ballots now.

Trump’s claim isn’t supported by any evidence. Many states vote by mail with no problem. What he’s really trying to do is suppress voting because as he confessed this week, he doesn’t think Republicans can win if it’s “too easy” for all of us to vote.

Hey @brianschatz am I wrong or is it bonkers that McConnell adjourned the Senate for the week today at 3:49? Shouldn't we be working on a Coronavirus funding bill? Or debating one of the 300 bills sent over from the House, like universal background checks? Asking for a friend.

Managing pandemics requires trustworthy and accurate information. That’s why this is so disturbing: The Trump Administration may have exposed health workers to Coronavirus without adequate protection, and then tried to cover it up — all while downplaying risks.

So here's what appears to be chain of events: The Trump administration repatriated infected Americans over the objections of the CDC. HHS then sent federal workers to interact with the infected population without adequate training or protection

Mike Pence is not an upgrade. Putting a guy in charge of a deadly major pandemic who doesn’t believe in science and thinks smoking doesn’t cause cancer is...well...NOT A GREAT IDEA. Radical idea: put someone qualified in charge. Take this seriously.
