Realy enjoyed listening to this podcast about disability cricket. Some of the players and presenters in this episode are well known to us. open.spotify.com/episode/46VOb0…

15 minutes with Alex Elkins, and I STILL can't draw #Creativity #Ideation #EmpLab23

Really looking forward to @Elkins_Shoptalk rounding off #emplab23

Finding Jack's presentation fascinating, but know that my poor brain can't compute everything he's saying #emplab23

Interesting comments from Tom Lowe about management structures operating above Careers Services. Memories of #NoBlameCulture #emplab23

This is a brilliant read for any employers or careers folks grappling with student engagement 👏 #studentengagement #earlycareers #futuretalent #EmpLab23

Love the idea of the behaviour lab @LeedsUniBSchool to observe, understand and develop student behaviour through immersive #hybridwork simulations. Love using experiential research to inform how we look at career transitions and progression to hybrid work. #emplab23

Super interesting from @HelenPNHughes at #EmpLab23 - Students and graduates tend to dismiss the value of their peers in their network. We need to help them to understand the value that this aspect of their network holds for them both now and in their future careers.❤️

Gratifying to hear @MikeGradconsult reference Recruitability as only one piece of the puzzle in #Careers work - Helen feels that focus on digital tools can sometimes miss out the socio-digital aspect e.g. how to 'get on' in work, rather than just 'get in' to a job. #EmpLab23

I spent a few hours today sitting on an Independent School Admissions Appeals panel. I'd love to know exactly what information is given to parents at the outset of an Infant Class Appeal.

As someone who has Argentina vs France in the Final for my World Cup Predictor league, I'll take that half time score

Yep

In amongst the controversy of the race, I can't hide my pride at one of my former placement students, living her dream in working for Red Bull Racing.

On the cusp of the final race of the season, my thoughts are with one of my recent grads. In her first meeting with me, she told me she wanted to forge a career in F1. Her placement year took her elsewhere, but gave the platform to live out those dreams. Now working for RBR.

Hmm.... this account has Spaces...... interesting. Maybe time to dust off the old #PlacementChat hashing and get people talking
