Having a "there are many fishes in the sea, there's more where you came from" mindset is honestly the best approach to the zero-sum battlefield that is modern dating.

People need to get familiar with non-attachment and have a somewhat fatalistic outlook on life, because it's really stupid to expect rational, predictable, and favourable behaviour from fellow human beings. Sometimes one just has to count one's losses and keep it moving.

Funny thing is that those guys were probably already living large in prison, but even that wasn’t enough they had to pardon them make Unah know say Unah truly worth less

Anytime a mutual makes their account private I wonder who they went to toast that they are now running from

I investigated the Nobel prize in physics winners for the last five years, and only one spent more than 1 million dollars on research. The Nigerian president spends more than that on one trip.

I wonder why his name didn’t make the list, maybe because his case is recent and he’s popular

Ikorodu and Abeokuta won’t even be in the same country without the conference. This is just an example. There would have been like 50 countries in southwest alone.

This is a popular thought line but it’s ahistorical and devoid of reality on ground before the conference. Berlin Conference, ironically, united us more.

We could have been one great United Yoruba Kingdom or the United States of Yorubas if the Berlin Conference didn’t happen. The Berlin conference ignored existing cultures and communities, in a sheer disregard for African culture and its linguistic boundaries. Sad.

At some point you have to laugh at this fake ass One-Nigerianism Obi says here. Why must Nigeria remain one? Because a white man 100 years ago said it. Thats really it. That’s what the logic boils down to.

If you know what it takes to be able to prosecute a Nigerian Politician successfully and get judgement in your favour, you will understand why it is wrong to pardon any politician convicted of corrupt practices in Nigeria.

I bet her students listen attentively in class and take coursework really. Wouldn’t want to make your murderous professor angry.

If Hushpuppi had been arrested and sentenced in Nigeria, his name would have 100% been on that list. You people will just cry and that’s it.

The one in Abuja who stabbed her husband and tried to cover it up with the help of her mum and brother, will also go this way.
