It was wonderful to meet rowers of all abilities at the first international Mixed Ability regatta in Cork, Ireland on June 8th. @IMAS_sport4all combines people with a range of abilities in crews to support recreational rowing, social life and structures in our sport.
It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of club legend, former captain and Scarlets President Phil Bennett. Phil passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday evening surrounded by his close family.
Our academic conference program had three great presentations from IMAS trainers who are experts by experience. Richard “Tank” Philpott, Sam Prowse, Marie Healy are a powerful voice for inclusion in sports, the Mixed Ability model and the impact of inclusion beyond sport
