On the radio round this am with launch of the latest #ReportOnJobs. Just done @BBCr4today and others to come. Headlines from our survey with @kpmguk and @SPGlobalPMI? Slightly better market performance - perm still shrinking but much slower, temp growing in some regions.. (1/)
Perfectly observed I’m sure. RIP Jenny - one of the best.
Minutes silence here before kick off to remember Jenny Bosley. A wonderful woman, who gave so much to the game.

We’ve come a long way.

Come on. This feels like THE night of our qualifying campaign. Need a win.
Delighted to speak at @EmploymtStudies annual conference today about #ProductivityThroughPeople - what is happening now is an extension of issues we have failed to tackle since 2008. New solutions to workforce engagement, flexibility and development are vital!
The evidence suggests that I will get Craig Halkett's stoppage time winner in the Edinburgh Derby into EVERYTHING this week. There was a point @recexpo today, I promise!

Thanks to all the early birds @recexpo who joined me for my 10 am slot!
“Let’s not forget the candidate here. We need to work differently and when we do, we must be more flexible “People buy from people. They make decisions based on advice from others. At the heart of every opportunity is a human connection.” Neil Carberry #RECExpo25

Great to speak at @recexpo this morning - and meet a wide range of businesses! And always a pleasure to be in Birmingham!
Here are two of Neil Carberry’s top tips from #RECExpo25. “Be the expert and be able to give advice. Don’t overclaim or overstretch” “Can your consultant do what they need to do, to deliver the highest quality service?”

Lots of discussions around legal support and our upcoming Success in the new normal’ masterclass with Alex Arnot. Equipped with all the BD stats you need to keep you on the cutting edge of recruitment. Come and speak to us on stand D59 #RECExpo #RECExpo25

The #RECAwards celebrate excellence across every corner of recruitment - and last year, Gattaca plc proudly claimed Sustainability Impact of the Year for their commitment to building a better, more sustainable future. Now, as the countdown to this year’s ceremony begins, the…

NHS staffing is a mess because it is run in ways that fail to give choice and opportunity to staff - they are viewed as cogs in a machine. That’s why you get so many perverse decisions - like bidding up the costs of temporary placements to try and “save money” on agency spend.
As Susanna Reid asks, "how have we got to a situation where we are training up doctors, investing a huge amount in them, we have an NHs in crisis... it is hard to get a GP appt, and we can't give trained doctors jobs?" #GMB

“What are you reading at University?” has become “Are you reading at University?”

Pretty good weekend all round…
