What a day today! Meg's birthday and 7 hours out walking 17 miles (27 km) from Roath Park to Tŷ Hafan in Sully with nurses, HCAs and staff on their 25km for 25 years challenge. They were all incredible, especially my gorgeous pregnant daughter! Well done! justgiving.com/team/25kmfor25…
We wanted to thank @mitie Facilities Management and Joanna for inviting our @tyhafan team to the Music Extravaganza last Friday. What a fantastic night! It was lovely to be dressed up and not in cycling shorts or hiking boots!
Two weeks since the @5in55 #bikeboatboot for @tyhafan challenge and on the wkend of 5th anniversary of losing Rhys it was time to spend some time out in the fresh air. A small 10mile bike ride this morning followed by a 4mile walk to get the legs going again #onemorehill

Day 4 Stage 2 of the #bikeboatboot challenge for @tyhafan | A cycle route we've done many times. The long Taff Trail all the way down to Cardiff Bay. The energy of the group was simply incredible after 3 tough days.
This was a great way to start a Sunday morning!
04:30 day 4 of the #bikeboatboot challenge for @tyhafan. Our bodies and minds were tired. But this was the final day! And to start we had a 8 mile hike up from Brecon and between Cribyn and Fan-y-Big. 1657 feet climb that took 3 hours 17 mins.
Day 3 Stage 4 of the #bikeboatboot challenge for @tyhafan took us up 2,140 feet from as he headed out of Beulah towards Brecon. This was a 21 mile 2 hr 51 min stretch at the end of a very tough day.
Sometimes with these challenges, it is best not to know what you've actually signed up for.
Day 3 Stage 3 on the #bikeboatboot challenge for @tyhafan in the Elan Valley heading towards Beulah & a 1955 feet climb, covering 21.5 miles in 5 hrs. Insane terrain and carrying bikes across streams. Brutal!
What an experience to be at the geographical centre of Wales..the remoteness of the surroundings was awe-inspiring...perfect place to share this experience with the @5in55 dads..
It was an amazing feeling to be standing at the geographical centre of Wales. We had not seen anyone for hours and it is possibly the remotest place I have ever been. No paths, no civilisation and just mountains as far as the eye could see #hikingadventures #wales @visitwales

Day 1 Stage 6 of the #bikeboatboot challenge for Tŷ Hafan meant kayaking with Urdd Gobaith the length of Lake Bala. And it was very windy! Thanks to Steve at Cardiff Bay Kayaking we had been well trained and completed the 3.4 miles in 78 mins. Day 1 had finally drawn to a close!
