So it turns out us ‘nimbys’ were right all along & the HS2 management really were incapable of delivering the project on time or on budget. One of the worst business cases I have ever read is now a dozen times worse. You’re all witnessing one of the greatest white elephants ever.
HS2 was always just a tool to redistribute £150+Bn public money into hands of vested interests. Destruction of Euston Square Gardens - one of the most visited green spaces in London - was a prime example. Now we see #HS2 won't even get to Euston! #StopHS2 @Hs2Rebellion #Ecocide
