Denmark doesn’t debate immigration with feelings, they use data: • 8 years to citizenship • 4 of those years can’t be on welfare • Only 5,000 new citizens a year • Crime data published by ethnicity Facts, not opinions.

It should be more like 20 years to citizenship with no criminal record.
50% of the time on welfare is way too much. They need to set a net tax contribution threshold that is higher the median native.
When you mass-import congenital criminals from dysfunctional overly hostile "countries" bent on world domination, you get a criminalized, dysfunctional society in a remarkably short period of time. Step 1 is to admit it.
I am Danish and can inform you, that it is not correct. We are overrun by foreigners. We have no-go zones for police, ambulances, fireteucks and even care workers. It is the same, as uaual being the problem (muslims) and causing the problem (leftism). It is the same everywhere^^
Why? Because they are not bound by EU rules on migration and asylum. Time to extend this privilege to other countries.
This is what every country that wants to move forward should be doing
Adjusted for population that would be what 200,000 naturalized Americans a year which is a quarter of the current rate. Would slow the economy
Why did we normalized immigration? 40-50 years ago, no european country needed it
Well, Denmark's in deep s as well. It might not be as crazy as the UK, DE, France etc. however, we are facing the exact same problems as all of the Western countries are.

There is nothing wrong with controlled, vetted immigration. There is nothing wrong with declining migrants who hate your citizenry and values. There is nothing wrong with deporting non-citizens who become hateful, violent, or incite violence.
Your stats are 100% accurate But the solution needs to be far more radical End the welfare handout system And the solution is not solved migration but also long term welfare problems It resolves the pension issue And brings us in line with 90% of other EU countries
This is still a bad situation. It is just boiling the frog more slowly.
I lived in Denmark and could’ve got a passport. I like that you must also pass an exam on the country but sorry to disappoint , the country is still overrun, especially in Copenhagen and Aarhus
Just came back from Copenhagen & can categorically say thst Denmark is for Danes. Very few immigrants
Stop glorifying Denmark. We're on our way down the waterfall because of immigration and our politicians are POS.
He has picked up a few headlines, but as a Dane it is blatantly obvious that he knows nothing about how things really work here.
The UAE benefits enormously from migration. Why not adopt their model? Saying migration benefits an economy & then providing welfare, housing, medical, education, etc. courtesy of the dwindling numbers of ageing taxpayers instead of using that money for economic development is…
This is a good starting point for us. Needs to be much harder than that to become an Irish citizen.way too easy at the moment.
In Ireland known asylum scammers and social welfare tourists are given citizenship and their entire extended family are allowed move here and get free €400k houses
How does world forget 1400 years Islamic invasions on nonmuslims. Muslims supremacist follow teachings of evil warlord. Supremacist always try take over

Why is it so hard for us to have a sensible approach to immigration? Other countries seem to manage it — Denmark or Poland for example. Why can’t we learn from what actually works?
Think 8 years is too short … be happy around the 12 mark ..
There’s a very simple solution. Make it 100% contribution benefit. Denmark like many other countries enforce a policy that you need a minimum of 9 months to qualify for benefits and you don’t qualify if the 9 months expires End all housing allowance. Welfare as % income
Many countries have 8-10 years to gain citizenship. In Saudi Arabia and some golf states, most foreigners can never get citizenships.
Sorry Eddie, One of our MEPs has debunked this myth with assurances. Using data and statistics is a tactic of the far right. x.com/TonightVMTV/st…
"There is absolutely no evidence from the Gardaí that there is a correlation between the arrival of asylum seekers into any place, and an increase in the incidents of crime..." @BarryAndrewsMEP and @ciaranmullooly clash on the contentious issue of immigration. #TonightVMTV
In this day and age of information, I find it extraordinary how easy it is to just copy other countries and yet we still don’t. Like all you have to do is copy and paste something other people have figured out.
