4/6/39 The #RedSox and Reds play an exhibition game in Florence, SC in a 50 mph wind storm. With the score tied 18-18, the game is called in the 9th inning because all 54 baseballs have disappeared.


4/4/01 Making his first start in a #RedSox uniform, Hideo Nomo throws the earliest no-hitter in MLB history as he blanks the Orioles, 3-0. Brian Daubach supplies the offense with a pair of HRs.
