Business phrases to replace, such as “Killing it!”
I hear phrases like “killing it” all the time and either silently or out loud, replace these monikers with something inspiring whilst bold.

Digital Keywords
How the digital revolution has shaped our language
@SFyimby + I suggest for neutral, non-normative term, #singleunit vs #singlefamily, as 1 unit/lot is usu defining attribute. c/@Redictionary
@SFyimby btw term "#multifamily" is increasingly deprecated as prejudicial & inaccurate, as urban apts now usu aren't occupied by 'families'
@SFyimby at a glance, language is confused. Is "multi-family units" # of single unit in a multi-unit buildings, or # of multi-unit buildings
Help #Fremont #WarmSprings. Is this real what I'm reading? 10-20,000 jobs, 2,7-4,000 DU? fremont.gov/DocumentCenter…
@dgouldin @tmccormick @SFyimby @albrgr @lydiadepillis @Redictionary arbitrary not same as meaningless
@dgouldin @SFyimby @albrgr @lydiadepillis Federal def (below 30% household income) may be arbitrary & problematic, but objective in a way.
@dgouldin @tmccormick @SFyimby @albrgr @lydiadepillis @Redictionary c'mon. If you make $36K per year you can't afford $3K rent per month.
@dgouldin @SFyimby @albrgr @lydiadepillis I'd say it has ambiguous/multiple usages, @Redictionary idea is delineate uses, not abandon words
