Nobody is saying the penalty was incorrect. I suggest you actually follow and read my tweets. How they got to that decision.... a little curious considering they only discussed and changed courses after me and the Rules Analyst pointed out it was an illegal procedure.
There is lots that goes on with crew communication behind scenes on field that nobody knows about and frankly doesn't need to But, all on field officials signal TD and put K ball in. Then McAulauy and me say "that's not legal" Suddenly they throw a flag after crew consultation?
I'm all for getting plays right.... but did they really come to the illegal procedure penalty after on field discussion or because someone from upstairs buzzed in? There is a fine line

These are just some awful football games. I don’t know how much longer the NFL can get away with offering these dreadful games and taking money from customers. Is there really an appetite for some of these awful teams and games?
If the NFL wants to move all these games to additional platforms and expect fans to pay, they need to offer a better product consistently than whatever this was. College Football has become much more enjoyable to watch.
All the increase in international interest and globalization of NFL and football interest has been undone by this game. If the NFL hoped to show these fans in London how exciting NFL football can be, this game has done the opposite

this team is HILARIOUS why do you go for it on 4th down with a fake punt.... and then run it on 1st down then let the half expire the Jets are not a serious organization
