Hampden Township held its annual veterans breakfast. I was glad to attend the celebration to say “thank you” to those who served following Veterans Day.
On Nov. 20, Highmark Caring Place annual open house for Children’s Grief Awareness Day. As a board member I have attended to support the great work they are doing for children in our community. We are lucky to have free resources ready to step in to support a child in need.
Congrats to the team, coaches and the fans that cheered them on!!! Great Job!

Had a great time at my second District Office on the Go at the WS Senior Center. We played BINGO and had lots of winners. It was fun to help people with Rent Rebate and unclaimed property - good to see lots of friendly faces!

Today we officially reopened Kramer Bros Glass in Lower Allen Twp! A family business that is a focal point as you enter LAT. Good to be there with @hrccredc to celebrate.
Glad to be a part of the Veterans Day service held at the NC Theatre today at 11:00. We were able to thank many veterans and their families for their service and unveiled the new Hometown Hero’s banners to hang in New Cumberland Boro. TY to NC Olde Towne Asso for the program.
Today we thank those that have served past and present. We also thank and remember those who gave all, while fighting for our freedoms. Thank you for your service.
I always enjoy see student having fun while learning. I attended a public cyber charter school leaders roundtable discussion. The conversation focused on our public school student outcomes & well-being, as well as potential legislative solutions to help students succeed.
We celebrated the 175th anniversaries of Lower and Upper Allen townships. Rep. Kutz and I presented House citations to the municipalities which recognized their histories and long-standing relationships of working together for our community. @RepKutz @lowerallen
I hosted my first of two annual DO on the Go events at Mech Place Senior Center. We helped residents in filing their Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program applications & search the PA Treasury database for unclaimed property. Another one at the WS Senior Center in NC next week.
Today is Election Day ! Have your voice heard with our statewide judges and vote for Battista for Superior Ct and Wolford for Commonwealth Ct.
Polls are open till 8pm! If you didn’t mail your ballot in and still have it, you have 2 options before 8pm today: 1) You can go to your poll in person, surrender your mail in ballot & vote in person. 2) You can drive your mail in ballot to the bureau of elections and turn it in.
Remember today is Election Day and we need everyone to get out and vote! In NC Borough we have the Mayor and Council seats open - I am glad to support the Heika, Eisenhower and Kelly team to work for our area! Get out to vote and make your voice heard.

I was able to congratulate Meredith Wagner, the newest Hampden Twp Troop 196 Eagle Scout. Her ceremony was held at American Legion Post 109 in Mechanicsburg. She worked hard on her project of Bat Houses in Srouji Park. Great Job!
Early on this rainy morning was the Hampden Twp Business Breakfast for an update on all the projects happening in the Twp. We were briefed on the work of the Commissioners, public works, COG, planning, veterans park, police, fire and EMS and more. TY to the staff & Commissioners!
Due to bad weather Lower Allen and Hampden Twp’s changed trick-or-treat night that was supposed to be tomorrow night! Lower Allen Twp will be Saturday night, November 1 and Hampden Township will be Friday night, October 31.
I spoke at the grand opening of Penn State Health’s Hampden Cancer Center. With over 100 skilled and compassionate staff members transitioning to this new site, the Hampden Cancer Center is ready to become a leader for cancer care in central Pennsylvania.
