I was fortunate to have my family with me as I was sworn-in to represent the 105th District in the #PaHouse this week! My top priorities are paid sick leave, education, protecting fundamental rights, increasing the minimum wage and expanding access to life-saving medication.
Thanks to Chief Fogg and the Colonial Park Fire Co. #1 for hosting an amazing open house! They offer free food, drinks, face painting, a chance for kids to use a mini hose to put out a “house fire,” and more. It’s a pleasure to participate every year!
Congratulations to our newest American citizens! This week, my staff had the honor of attending the naturalization ceremony for 44 new U.S. citizens from 20 countries. I'm so proud and excited to see all the great things these men and women will accomplish!
Today, I reflect on a former Sunday school student whose life was lost to domestic violence. My proposed legislation seeks to hold abusers who defy PFA orders accountable for their actions.
I had a great time at the @whitakercenter's Art of Science Benefit. It was a neon-filled night of exhibits, performances and artistic displays that highlight the beauty of science! I'm always glad to support the Whitaker Center as a hub for science and innovation in our region!
As a child advocate, I saw the increasing numbers of grandparents raising grandchildren. I had an amazing time supporting my friend @RepMadsen at a fashion show and program highlighting the importance of grandfathers by Gifts Inc., which is doing great work in our community!
Unfortunately, the Capitol All-Stars game was postponed until Spring 2026. I was ready to put on my lucky socks and play under City Island's bright lights, but we’ll have to wait a few more months. However, we're still recognizing Hunger Action Month and all the funds raised!
I joined @SenatorPattyKim in recognizing 60 years of amazing service from the East Shore Library! 📖 This was my home library as a child, and I brought my kids here as well! It's a privilege that we have such a long-standing, community pillar right here in the district!

Congratulations to Miss Oliva Stokes, a high school senior who wrote and photographed a book entitled Secrets of Robins: From Eggs to Exiting. This is a wonderful peek into the world of ornithology, and I commend her on this amazing achievement as a published author!
