Thank you to @RepMcClinton for sharing the Speaker’s rostrum during yesterday’s session. Always an honor to serve as Speaker Pro Tempore & help guide meaningful work in the PA House.

PA’s housing crisis demands action—aging infrastructure, rising costs, and too few affordable options. That’s why I helped launch the first-ever bipartisan Housing Caucus to advance commonsense solutions for families across the Commonwealth.
House Dems passed real transit funding—sustainable, recurring, no new taxes, and $600M for roads/bridges. Senate Rs blocked it. Thanks to Gov. Shapiro & PennDOT, PRT got a $106.7M stopgap to avoid cuts & fare hikes, but without long-term funding, riders stay at risk.

Today we remember the lives lost on 9/11 and honor the first responders, firefighters, and service members who ran toward danger to keep us safe. Too many still face broken systems when they need care. We must do better—for our first responders, and for one another.

Having a seat at the table isn’t a privilege—it’s a right. I’m proud to support the Advanced Practice RNs at Magee-Womens Hospital as they join their RN colleagues in unionizing for quality care, safe staffing, and fair pay.
Trump's so-called One Big Beautiful Bill Act is going to harm our most vulnerable communities––starting with seniors. I joined Lawrenceville Seniors and @RepLPowell to make sure our seniors know what's going on and how we're continuing to fight for them no matter what Trump…
Congratulations to the nurses at UPMC Magee-Women's Hospital and @seiuhcpa on winning your union! Proud to stand in solidarity with you as you fight for better care for every patient. I look forward to @UPMC's cooperation and immediate recognition of this union without delay.
It’s an absolutely gorgeous day to fund public transit

A $1 fare hike = $365 more a year for daily transit riders. That’s money that could be used for groceries, bills, & basic needs. I thought us PA legislators were against raising the cost of living? My bad...
We recognize the importance of public transportation, but we can’t ignore the needs of our rural communities, roads and bridges. Pennsylvania deserves a balanced, comprehensive plan that works for the entire Commonwealth.
Every $1 invested in public transit pumps out $5 in economic activity + $3 in business sales. Transit (quite literally) keeps PA’s economy moving. Senate Republicans—if you’re truly pro-economy, now’s the time to prove it. Get to Harrisburg and fund our public transit.
Grateful to @cityandstatepa for the chance to talk about the work I’m doing to expand housing access, uplift communities, and fight for a more equitable PA. cityandstatepa.com/personality/20…
Try handing in a project 24 days late at your job. See how that goes. As of today, that's exactly how late Senate Republicans are with the state budget... no regard for the deadline yet still collecting a paycheck.
Stephen, I think you’re just an old man who hates fun :(
Folk, I need help with a ruling: Is this cringey because I'm an old man who kinda hates video or is it ~actually~ cringey? instagram.com/reel/DL2hV0AMq…

Senator McCormick just voted to take Medicaid and SNAP coverage away from tens of thousands of Pennsylvanians -- all while pocketing more of YOUR money to subsidize tax breaks for him and his rich friends. This budget is an utter sellout of Pennsylvania's working families.
I am proud to support this bill because it would deliver continued tax relief to millions of Pennsylvania families and prevent the largest tax increase in American history. This bill also delivers on many of the promises that both President Trump and I made – to secure our…
📢Today the House passed the PA Home Preservation Program out of committee with overwhelming bipartisan support! A vote on the House floor comes next. Thanks to @RepLPowell for championing this essential program, which will provide critical repairs to homeowners across PA.
