When I joined Congress, it felt like many Americans were losing faith in our democracy, in part because it wasn’t delivering for them. I’m proud to have been part of a Congress that did much of what Americans had been demanding for years. And I’m grateful for serving you. -TM

Senate just passed @LindseyGrahamSC & @SenWhitehouse @RepMalinowski @RepCohen & @RepJoeWilson's bipartisan provision to transfer forfeited assets of Putin-linked criminals to rebuild Ukraine! With steady bipartisan support from @KleptoCaucus & @HelsinkiComm 🇺🇸🇺🇦

Happy Hanukkah! May your celebrations be filled with joy, peace and happiness. 🕎

#OnThisDay 235 years ago – December 18, 1787 – New Jersey ratified the Constitution and became our country’s third state. Happy Birthday, New Jersey!

If we make banks report dirty money but allow law, real estate, & accounting firms to look the other way, that creates a loophole that crooks & kleptocrats can sail a yacht through. Our bill closes that loophole and encourages the administration to move in the same direction -TM

Thank you so much to our District Interns Eldina, Hursith, Rafael, and Sam for their hard work this Fall! We are so excited to see what comes next for them.

Ten years ago, our country lost 20 children and 6 educators in the horrific shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. We must continue to honor those taken from us that day by taking further action against gun violence.

Yesterday, Tom met with a group of Jewish students from the 7th District who are part of @TheRAC educational program. Students gave Tom presentations on reproductive rights, mental health services, gun violence prevention, and more.

Happy birthday to the @USNationalGuard! Thank you to those who have worked to keep us safe — serving overseas, providing humanitarian relief, & responding to local disasters.

Last week, North Hunterdon High School librarian Ms. Hickson was featured on @nytimes The Daily podcast. Martha's efforts are an important step in the national fight against book banning in our libraries. nytimes.com/2022/12/07/pod…

Tom secured funding authorizations for water infrastructure projects in our community. The funding was inserted into the biennial Water Resources Development Act (WRDA), which passed the House yesterday! 🚰

Equal opportunity under the law is not a reality for many Americans. Tom was proud to help us get one step closer to a more just nation by voting for the Respect for Marriage act which heads to @POTUS' desk to be signed into law.

.@RepMalinowski calls out nefarious Republican claims that US assistance to Ukraine is a “blank check.” The real objective of Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Resolution is to obstruct US aid, divide bipartisan Congressional support, and mislead the American people. (1/3)
Social media companies must be held accountable for their algorithms that amplify radicalizing content & lead to violence. Today, Tom and a group of former NatSec officials filed an amicus brief w/ SCOTUS in the case of Gonzalez v. Google. Learn more⬇️ malinowski.house.gov/media/press-re…
Today we honor the American lives lost 81 years ago at the horrific attack on Pearl Harbor. We also remember the sacrifice & courage of those who signed up to protect our country in the days and years to come.

Immigrants make the U.S. a better place, including those who chose to serve our country. Tom is proud to have supported the #VeteranServiceRecognitionAct which makes it easier for noncitizen service members to apply for naturalization.
🚨🚨🚨 BREAKING: The House has PASSED H.R. 7946, the Veteran Service Recognition Act.

Thanks to the IIJA, New Jersey is receiving $169 mil from the @EPA for improvements to the state's water infrastructure. This funding will help communities access clean drinking water, increase resiliency, & collect and treat wastewater. midjersey.news/2022/12/01/epa…
