I voted yes on SB365, which is the companion bill to @RepOMara bill, which allows first responders to receive workers comp for PTSI without having to prove that the injury was sustained under ‘abnormal’ working conditions.

Pennsylvania lawmakers approved legislation that would extend worker's compensation claims for first responders diagnosed with post-traumatic stress injuries as a result of their work.
When the bill passed, we welcomed @PghFireFighters and fire fighters from across the state to the House floor to honor their service to our communities. Great work by @RepOMara to get this done!

This week in Harrisburg we passed a bipartisan resolution recognizing Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. This topic is so important to me and I want all Pennsylvanians to know that we understand the significance of this issue and are working to save lives.
Today, the committee held a voting meeting and favorably reported two bills! @RepOMara's legislation to guarantee earned paid leave for all PA workers (HB 2548), and @RepHaddock's legislation to modernize the ASL Interpreter Act (HB 2566)!

Our Solar for Schools bill signing ceremony was yesterday. Over a year ago, we introduced the bill standing behind a solar panel. None of us knew if we’d be back again to celebrate. But thanks to the hard work of countless partners & @GovernorShapiro’s signature, we did it. 🌞
