HR 836, which would end the Governor’s disaster declaration, passed the House in a bipartisan vote 117-85. I voted yes. It now goes to the Senate.
Time and time again, House Republicans like myself have led the way toward safely reopening Pennsylvania. Every time we’ve taken action, the Governor has followed. House Republicans are leading the way out of this crisis.

On this National Nurses Day, thank you to our nurses who are always there to help us in our time of need, especially in this COVID-19 pandemic.
Legislation that would allow lawn and garden centers to open was just passed by the House. I voted yes. House Bill 2429 now moves to the Senate for their consideration. If Lowe’s and Home Depot can be open, there is zero reason our family-owned garden centers cannot be open.
I was proud to vote for this legislation today. Nobody should be homeless because of COVID-19.
