Well today on here I have seen global majority bishops described amongst other things as blasphemous, Pharisees, sinning, homophobic, uncaring about poverty or mission (the irony). It's fine to disagree with them but the depth of incomprehension of their position is worrying.

I have come to the conclusion using the best spurious/subjective research that there exists a weather range in which British people will NOT complain about the weather: Sunny, 15-20% cloud cover, 24.3°C-24.6°C Woe to the one who mentions the weather outside this range!

Can't believe I'm writing this, but I wonder if this winter well need 'warm banks' the equivalent of 'food banks' where people who can't afford heating are invited to spend their days at no cost with heating (eg libraries, public buildings)?

An extraordinary privilege to respond to the Loyal Address #synod In Her Majesty we see one who by focussing on service of others in explicit imitation of Christ witnesses that character is formed & love & loyalty engendered when we turn outwards, & most so when we turn to Him.
If we value good theology we must protect and value residential training. Too much of the present pre-ordination theological training is very thin, leading to the danger of theology with shallow roots twinned but a sense of theological entitlement. #synod
