I’m a teacher. I am strongly opposed false narratives in education and will tell you if I feel you are trying to divert attention from the truth.

Shall we ask Chat GPT what this nasty toad of a man did to children during the Pandemic? @UsforThemUK

“I do think smaller class sizes is part of pandemic preparedness and, right now, pupil numbers in primary schools are falling because of demographic changes. If we could find a way of not closing schools but instead of having class sizes that are smaller that would be pandemic…
This is a lie. The @NEUnion strongly discouraged members from meaningful contact with children in the first lockdown. It is disgusting to suggest otherwise @UsforThemUK
Proud of our former joint GS, @cyclingkev for giving evidence at the Covid Inquiry today. Our profession went above and beyond to ensure continuity of education in truly unprecedented times. But it’s worth asking: are our schools ready for the next pandemic? In a globalised…
The @NEUnion might ‘support 20%’ PPA, but the actual agreements in place are for 10%. Whole days out will force increases in class sharing, less knowledge of children and poorer outcomes as a result. If you don’t want to be present and teaching, choose a different job.
In the Sunday Times today. 20% PPA that teachers are allowed to do from home would make a difference. Graduates are entering the workforce expecting greater flexibility - to attract and retain great teachers, education needs to meet that challenge. thetimes.com/article/f6b16a…

Stupid manipulation of the school. Our Lady’s in Abingdon closed after similar action. More will follow. You are costing people jobs. x.com/robshellfish/s…
#NowSpinning Karajan’s DG Bruckner 4 from April 1975. It’s been a LONG time since I heard this version. Something at the back of my mind tells me there might be an edition issue, which I am sure someone will point out if there is!

Yup and so it came to pass. This school is now closing.
There won’t need to be fire and rehire if you stop letting the @NEUindeSector @NEUnion manipulate you into strike action. All you are going to do is accelerate the demise of your employer. Don’t expect much of a payout when you are made redundant as a result!!!
Oh dear. That was predictable. And yet the @NEUnion gets them striking. This will happen to more.
Shostakovich died on 9th August 1975. The unbearable emotional tension between his need to express himself as an authentic artistic voice and the need to survive the demands of Stalin’s regime underlines the power of his music. What are your favourite Shostakovich recordings?

May Jim Lovell rest in peace. He showed us that when the odds couldn’t seem more bleak, clear-sighted determination, creativity and courage can combine to achieve the impossible.

Ignoring the facts doesn’t make this true.

This is a ridiculous scandal. There is an acute shortage of doctors in the NHS yet thousands of qualified doctors are being turned away because there are no jobs for them. The argument that the NHS is cash-strapped is a government choice. thetimes.com/uk/healthcare/…
Concentrate on education!

Read the comments on this one. The @NEUnion is once again stepping outside of its lane, to use its size as a way of carrying out ultra left wing extremism.
Join @NEUnion and @AntiRacismDay to stand against the far right in Epping✊ at 2pm today . Racism and hate have no place in our communities. Bring your banners. Bring your placards. Together, we will make a stand.

When pay was held pack 17 years ago, SO WERE WORKING HOURS. I live with a senior consultant who worked double the 40 hour week these muppets get. It was dangerous, but they did it. Of course pay was held back. Now start working and stop fucking moaning you entitled wasters.
The Secretary of State has come with some ideas but it's not enough yet to be able to suspend the strikes. I hope that there is further progress soon - we don't want to strike but now it's up to the DHSC to address residents' concerns properly. I remain hopeful!
The more you pay, the more people who gain pay can spend, the more prices go up, the more those not fortunate to have such a good job with already great pay drive everyone else into the dirt. You want to talk about fairness? Well this isn’t it.
“There do not have to be any strikes. Streeting can solve this dispute.” @ERunswickBMA speaks to @BBCBreakfast this morning following five days of strikes for #PayRestoration.
‘Your Party’. So, the People’s Party really. We can have a People’s Republic of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and be just like China or other socialist countries. You know, because human rights are SOOOO good there. Oh and then there’s North Korea. All fab.

Website: “Chaired by NEU former general secretary Mary Bousted’. So basically it’s the NEU commissioning its own reports to say what it wants to say again. Absolute malingerers.
The NEU welcomes the new report from the Teaching Commission, which outlines a range of strategies to make teaching a more attractive profession and transform our schools. We urge the government to engage with this crucial report fully, to invest in educators and our children's…

Poor little baby under so much pressure huh? Well imagine that multiplied hundreds of times for the private schools trying to continue to educate children followed her idealistic crusade. I hope her career burns in hell.
Half a million more children getting free school meals and 100,000 lifted out of poverty. We are investing in the priorities of the British people.
