I don't think many North of the Pines realize just how historic this victory was. Cumberland County is a place where there are only 2 Republicans for every 3 Democrats, but come January Republicans will have a 7-0 majority for the first time in the county's entire history.
Atlantic County is not a Republican county. In order to win, our candidates had to overcome a voter registration deficit of 12,000 countywide & more than 15,000 in LD2. Vince won a district by 9 points that on paper Republicans should lose by 9 despite being outspent by millions.
Candidates matter. Campaigns matter. If Republicans can win vote by mail and early voting in the nearly 3-1 Democrat 6th Ward of Atlantic City, we can do it just about anywhere. Congratulations @JesseOKurtz

The Limit, Save, Grow Act, passed by House Republicans, responsibly raised the debt limit while reining in spending. The Fiscal Responsibility Act simply does not live up to the expectations we set, and I cannot in good conscience vote for it. I will be a no vote.
