A tree planting ceremony was held this week to celebrate a visit of delegates from Sharjah Private Education Authority and the University of Sharjah. This follows a previous visit with @BristolUni to Sharjah, to sign an agreement to deliver education and research programmes.
Today we welcomed colleagues from @BristolUni prior to a two-day visit from representatives from the Emirate of Sharjah in the UAE. Researchers presented on animal health, sustainable agriculture, soils and land contamination and remediation, and Earth observation.
Entering its eighth year, Groundswell provides a forum to learn about the theory and practical applications of Conservation Agriculture or regenerative systems. Prof Tom MacMillan was part of the Next Gen Regen panel. Read more here: bit.ly/46AGAbF
