We had one day where RTD was not revered as an infallible deity! And now we're back to blaming Moffat for everything that went wrong in New Who. Whether you like it or not, RTD1 had similar problems that RTD2 has but they were thankfully saved by a focus on character writing.
The show started to go downhill in the Matt Smith era. The Doctor should be a time traveling hobo wizard but then they started in on the "Silence will fall" stuff and suddenly the entire show just became about how the Doctor is the most important being in the entire universe
