Absolutely over the moon to place third in the men’s 10km at yesterday’s Causeway Coast 10km. Superb event as with last year. Thank you @26Extreme and Lucy for such a great event. Loved it.
Another great race from @CoastHalf yesterday with records tumbling and PBs to burn. Really pleased with my own PB, which is exactly four mins faster than last year’s time #medalmonday #garmin #beatyesterday #running #halfmarathon
Final prep done for tomorrow’s @CoastHalf. Third time of running this fantastic race. Could be interesting with some strong gusts of wind predicted but it’ll be fun whatever happens on the clock. See you there?!

New route just announced for the @CambridgeHalfUK! Am excited to do it again next year.
Updated the @Garmin Connect app for iPhone yesterday and the pace data for future workouts with Coach Greg are blank, the app alerted me to a video by the wrong Coach and Coach has disappeared from Connect online. Anyone else seeing this and have a fix?!
I have a few different Twitter accounts for different purposes, and for quite a while this account seemed protected against some of the bile that has seeped into the others. Not so anymore. Timeline and trends have started showing hateful and harmful garbage. Hope it stops soon.
Shouldn’t be this excited about a VO2 score, but I am 😁 It’s been hard going over the last few months with a really busy time at work and training in ridiculous heat and humidity. Will see what it equates to at @CoastHalf next month…

Sore knees and ankles after last night’s Speed Repeats but got this one done. Bit of stop-start with traffic lights and pedestrians, and couldn’t really get a rhythm for the first 10km, but the back 10km was better and avg HR was 140, which in this heat is OK by me 🫶👍
At the halfway point of tonight’s long easy run. Quite lively around Parliament / Spark Street in the slightly cooler, breezy temps
Hot sun and so humid, even at 8pm. Sweat = heavier vest = bleeding nip (aways starting with the left one, even with anti-chaffing balm). Had to walk between half of the repeats but mostly hit the required paces. 30mins of WU/CD really knackers the avg pace tho!
