You know what’s worse that losing? Disqualifying yourself before you even try. “I’m not smart enough. I’m too old. I’m a nobody. I don’t have enough resource. I can’t because ____.” All lies. Lies that fear uses to hold us back.
Transactional Thinking is in a way that says “What Can I Get?” while Relational Thinking is more about “What Can I Give?” - Focus on the relationship.
It's always interesting to me when someone asks for your advice and then when you give it to them they immediately respond with objections on why that won't work (before they even try). I think the first part of change / success is simply being willing.
