Best book I read in 2025 by a margin. The history of economic thought isn't part of the standard curriculum, so this was overdue. Keynes' wayward life as a public intellectual was fascinating as well — the smartest person that nobody listened to.

Imagine someone saying: "A parent is someone who biologically produced a child. Someone who adopts a child is not a parent." We can use words how we want & can choose to use "parent" in a more or less inclusive way. Likewise, how we choose to use the word "woman" is up to us.
