Yesterday marked the launch of our new Proactive Shoplifting Operation in North Division. Plenty of great results; including this sheepish lady who found herself running into officers after being spotted her concealing goods under her clothing. Shoplifters not welcome in Surrey
Today, our Western Proactive Arrest Unit put in an early wake up call for a prolific shoplifter, arresting her for multiple thefts from across Surrey. On the way back to base, the team responded to a serious RTC, helping to manage the scene & obtain key evidence from witnesses.

Whilst returning to base, this driver began driving aggressively behind our Proactive Arrest Team; tailgating, driving at speed - all whilst on his phone! Looked quite sheepish upon being stopped - Particularly when he learnt that his impending points would revoke his licence!
It's been a busy day for our Proactive Arrest Team, tasked with tracking down longstanding Wanted Persons in which traditional methods have failed to trace them. Today was all about intelligence building; exploring new lines of enquiries to support future Arrest attempts.
Last weekend, we attended @BrooklandsMuseu Emergency Services Day to engage with the public and showcase the skills and equipment we use to keep you safe. This included our displays from our Specialist Drone, Public Order and Roads Policing Units. A great day had by all.

Took the day off of work to gain more experience with the drone team… flat out once we booked on - proved to me that there’s always a need for a pair of eyes in the sky - great to provide this support to our regular colleagues @SurreyPolice
2 of our SCs were out today, on annual leave from their day job’s, providing UAV coverage for the whole county… kept busy from 08:00 until the evening. @SurreyPolice @SurreyRoadCops
Nipped in for a few hours after work to help a colleague progress through their PAC activities… productive few hours!
Camberley yesterday, officers supported neighbourhood colleagues in providing a visible presence in and around the town centre following reports of ASB. Male engaging with cars coming and going spoken to. Drugs found on person, attempted to drive away, failed drug wipe. Arrested.
