My current NENDY of Black Rocks. 3 flat out and backs with stunning views over the Derbyshire Dales. It’s not surprising how popular it is. Coolish temperature and a nice breeze.
Bramhall parkrun for me this morning. Very well attended and plenty of festive fancy dress made it a great atmosphere. Happy Christmas everyone.
I’ve volunteered at the Birchall Playing Fields inaugural event. Good turnout and positive feedback from those who attended
Cheadle Hulme parkrun. The challenge this morning was to stay upright. The course is on grass, so the weather made it resemble a cross country course. I really enjoyed it though #ukrunchat
Rosliston parkrun this morning. It was very much what I was expecting. An amazing route if you like a trail run. A couple of cunning inclines at half way and at the end.
Beacon parkrun. Very nice couple of laps around the park. Little bit wet in places, but I don’t mind that. Well attended and plenty of volunteers #ukrunchat
This morning, I’ve ventured up to South Manchester parkrun. Very well attended with plenty of dogs and pushchairs as well. Got a South and S for various challenges and hopefully a palindrome as well 🤞
Battlestead Croft parkrun event number 37. Nice and flat course. There was probably less than 50 people taking part.
An early start for me to venture down to East Park parkrun in Wolverhampton. Pancake flat, apart from one minor bump, and the sun was out. Volunteers were amazing as ever 👍 #ukrunchat
Crewe parkrun. Great course and a very nice cafe. The hills weren’t as bad as I thought they were going to be #ukrunchat
I should have put a bet on for this result - they were good odds 🤦

Northwich parkrun this morning. Nice route and no real hills to speak of
Wilmslow parkrun this morning. Nice out and back twice. Hopefully get the palledrome challenge today (31:13), but wait until the official results #ukrunchat
Alderley Park parkrun. Very nice trail route in the woods. I only realised it was so close for about a week or so 😂 I’m glad I’ve done it now.
Trentham Gardens parkrun. I have been putting this one off because it’s so busy. The route was very nice around the lake, which made up for it #ukrunchat
Isabel Trail parkrun. Very nice out and back, pancake flat and welcoming volunteer team. I must start off easily and gradually pick up the pace, I’ve noticed that in the last few parkruns I’ve done
