I completed my OU BA (Hons) and had to create this as part of it. I am have now started Masters with the OU as well - really looking forward to it.

It has been a super struggle this week with the gorgeous weather to get my head down and study, and now with just 2 1/2 days left for an assignment I’m still finding the struggle very very real!
Since neither of us will be working from home we’ve put in a small double - meaning the desk is in the corner. But working there tonight it’s quite a cosy corner and I can ignore the world Only doing short stints at the moment to get back used to studying whilst working
Feels like a longer break this time - however we are back with the second module of the Masters Degree. This time exploring Technological innovation
I could not be happier to receive a distinction for my first Master’s module. I don’t think I received a single one with my BA 😅 I think it’s helped merging my @aircadets work into my Open University work. I can see the impact of my studies straight away.
A miracle in my academic career - not only did I not need the 12 hour grace period. I actually got it in the day before. Absolutely loved this module, think I’m going to miss having allocated time to it (although no doubt I will be using it!!)
A minor issue of going to Wycombe the week before my last assignment for this module, is the amount of additional books I need to take!
It’s just getting busier 🤨 Good job I’m actually really enjoying this module, and I can see in a real world situation the impact the work is having
I may not be in my normal study area but still totally abusing the walls 🙈🙈🙈 no one said wall space would be a requirement for a Masters, but at the same time none of the desks are anywhere near big enough
I eventually got there - some good bits for the review part of the assignment as I’ve had to take some of the kinks out to leave just the important ones
Did a focus group with my cadets tonight as it recommends doing a more basic cognitive map with another stakeholder. Not just useful for Uni work but really good information for the Sqn!
Written up all the notes, and mind maps from the cadets work reviewing what a Squadron Training Program is for, what can they do to help - we have been able to more it all into one mind map.
Ok can get a simple top and simple bottom but not a simple match up between the two The pink writing is what I need to connect it to
Lines are my enemy at the moment. I cleared the bottom section so no crossing lines, added the next two and bam hundreds of crossing lines So attempting to sort the lines out before writing the nodes in full
It does warn you the first iteration would need adaptinh Pleased with the content (although had to take loads off!) just need to rearrange in a way which doesn't have so many arrow crossing!
Lovng the new method of mind dumping “phrases” needed for the model onto individual bits of paper then moving them around into the individual levels (and eventuallyy linking together) However, I appear to gave run out of desk space...... So wall it is 🙈
I always love when the light bulb goes ping and I finally understand what I've been learning. So jumped backwards to write (draw?) it up to save time when I get to the TMA end of the week.
Unexpectedly learning about lateral thinking and the tasks including a lot of creativity. First up was meditation and story telling. Next up selecting a random word from the dictionary to look at the situation looking through that word
Cooled down outside but he house is retaining all the heat so went to study down on the beach. But the smome is just getting heavvier and catches your throat, so retreating back home and either back garden or seeing if we can cool off.
