We could not agree more, after losing six of our city’s libraries last year. Including two of the longest serving public libraries that have enabled safe places to learn & discover stories for generations.

Halfway, Blantyre & Hillhouse Libraries Communities need these vital lifelines to remain & the statutory right to a public library service 💔 They serve thousands of children, adults and vulnerable people it’s still astounding to me we have to fight for it! @SouthLanCouncil
