The continued road traffic accidents are very sudden and place demands for the sense of awareness for drivers/riders and pedestrians. An accident occurred between Gorlu and Mafata Village on Lofa Highway today with many injured. #RoadSafetyAwarenessDemands

Road traffic deaths and severe injuries are the leading cause of death for young people 14-29 globally 😭! It’s time for young people around the world to rise up and drive actions that hold governments accountable for this unacceptable situation. #CommitToAct!

Thanks for the commitment to #VisionZero

Safety is my top priority for #EUtransport. In our #MobilityPackage 3, we introduced a safe system approach addressing all factors linked to crashes. To deliver on #VisionZero deaths on EU roads, we need continued engagement from the entire transport ecosystem. @ETSC_EU @EU2018AT

13 died in 8 days in Liberia along the Monrovia Gbarnga highway. We are calling on the government to immediately close the Monrovia to Gbarnga highway until safety measures are instituted. The road has recorded the highest road deaths since its rehabilitation by Sirleaf's gov't
