Hydrogen bonding means that water molecules are incredibly attracted to each other, even at relatively high temperatures #worldwaterday

Put water molecules into a cup, and they act like magnets – negative pole of one is attracted to the positive pole of another #WorldWaterDay

Oxygen holds the electrons closer, making that end of the molecule a bit negative. The hydrogen end is then a bit positive. #WorldWaterDay

It's all down to hydrogen bonding, Water's atoms bond into a triangular shape, but they don't share their electrons equally #worldwaterday

If water behaved like other molecules of the same size, it should be a gas, rather than a liquid, at room temperature #worldwaterday
