I love seeing what kind of software businesses are running. I had an eye appointment this morning and I’m pretty sure they were running a 15 year old win forms app. I remember seeing Fry’s PoS system a few years ago and I think it was at least 20 years old
I find Chat GPT being helpful for my mundane programming tasks. For example, I was refactoring and I had a C# class with a bunch of methods, and I needed to create an interface based off the calss. I gave it the code and the prompt and it spit out exactly what I needed.
One thing I hate about the MacBooks is that the edges are sharp where your wrists rest.
