I start top left un-processed pixel, move right until I hit another color, move horizontal bar down until other color, mark all as processed


interesting. Why not index everything in a table and do what I did? More or less same result in like 8 LOC


The down expansion reduces the rect count by a lot (I'm processing the completed pixel map btw, not as I go along)


oh. I do it as I go so that I can generate faster and with less ram. your method sounds like a compression algorithm
