If you could plan the next week according to your actual priorities, what would your schedule look like?

If you want to know what your priorities truly are just look at where you spend the majority of your time.

“The key is not to prioritize your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.” —Stephen Covey #screenwriting

A lot of people have a budget for their finances, but they don't have a budget for equally important limited resources like time and energy. Prioritize your #screenwriting

"It's not just words. Action expresses priorities." — Mahatma Gandhi

We're really good at making #screenwriting goals, but really bad at turning those goals into habits and the reason is that we default to "easy," we default to things that don't require a lot of extra energy because everything is pulling at our energy.

What is ONE thing you can focus on this week that, if completed, will help you build momentum and move you closer to your #screenwriting goal?

Choose a #screenwriting goal that you actually have control over. When your goals rely on others, it will lead to frustration and bitterness.

“Success isn't always about greatness. It's about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come.” —Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson

Spend more time focusing on the #screenwriting journey (habits) and less on the destination (goals).

"A dream written down with a date becomes a GOAL. A goal broken down into steps becomes a PLAN. A plan backed by ACTION makes your dreams come true." — Greg Reid

Your number one #screenwriting goal should be to get it done, not get it done perfectly.

WHEN are you going to write this week? WHERE are you going to write? WHAT are you going to accomplish? They key to a productive #screenwriting week is to plan it ahead of time and track your progress.

"Your #screenwriting environment matters. Surround yourself with positive messages, images, and vibes. What you put in is what you get out." - Hudson Phillips

"People do not decide their futures. They decide their habits and their habits decide their futures." — F.M. Alexander

"If you're not reaching your daily #screenwriting goal, you're not the problem, the goal is the problem. Set a daily habit that you can actually stick to." - Hudson Phillips

"Every other job you show up and do the work. Your boss isn't going to give you time to get inspired or to do research. You just show up and do it and that's what #screenwriting has to become for you. A job." - Hudson Phillips
