Actually, I just reviewed my journal. On 4/25/19, I was told that we were never to pursue Andrew for an interview on our show (along with several others). The list of candidates was dictated, but the reasons for allowing them or not were not explained.

Hey @USTreasury, long time listener, first time tweeter here. The postal service is vital to our democracy and also they bring us cute little presents. Give them proper funding! #MailedIt

No industry -- not airlines, not hotels, not cruise ships -- should be bailed out. They can stay in business by borrowing at rock-bottom rates, using their assets as collateral. Taxpayer money should be used to bail out people, not corporations.

.@Scaramucci champions an historic $3.2 trillion ‘wartime’ stimulus that includes $3,000 per adult and $1,500 per child over 3 months and gov’t serving as buyer of last resort to support small and large businesses. I agree that this is the right scale. Cheaper than a depression.

I cannot believe I am writing this, but here it is: My reporting would indicate there’s probably more bipartisan energy behind cutting $1,000 checks to people than enacting a payroll tax cut.

The biggest U.S. airlines spent 96% of free cash flow over the last decade to buy back shares of their own stock in order to boost executive bonuses and please wealthy investors. Now, they expect taxpayers to bail them out to the tune of $50 billion. It's the same old story.

So here's what appears to be chain of events: The Trump administration repatriated infected Americans over the objections of the CDC. HHS then sent federal workers to interact with the infected population without adequate training or protection
