Truly valuing diversity is recognizing the individual's unique strengths and weaknesses, and assembling a winning team that capitalizes on the strengths of each teammate. It is common for people to favor their own strengths, and that can be a pitfall when assembling a team.
I've formulated a new question I'm going to start asking to trusted peers and mentors. "What are the things I do that you would describe as 'Me, getting in my own way?'"
I have such an aversion to checkbox credentials. I have an even stronger aversion to people who put great stock in checkbox credentials. In my experience, the best people defy the checkboxes.

Just heard a new word: confusopoly. This describes a company that creates a confusing consumption or billing structure to intentionally confuse their customers and enrich themselves. Think cell phone bills, MS Licensing, Cisco Smartnet, etc.
